Math And Taxes

Tax week was murderous; I don’t like to pay one minute before I have to!  Inventory is not too bad, as we have a rotating production and so don’t have to have huge stock bins to hold what (someone else) makes.  Mostly we have parts and parts of parts.  How many screws, how many capacitors, how many heat sinks, how many knobs, how many coils of wire, how many at what cost and value?  Sticky notes littering the floor like aspen leaves when done.  Then its off to the accountant.  Tax week put our delivery schedule behind its normal estimates by 2-8 days.  Which is messy but necessary.  If we just resold stuff it would not have been an issue, but manufacturing means you have to do the making before you can ship it.  And if you’re inventory-taking, you are not product-making.
