We know that a violet wand’s corona discharge is about 12-18″ away from the wand itself when its running.  That means that current leaks into the air around the wand, and its why your sensitive electronics will fry when they are near a wand.

You can see this in action yourself by holding a fluorescent tube bulb near a running violet wand.  Hold it farther out, and start to bring it closer.  The point that the tube lamp begins to light up is how far vw energy is leaking into the air.

But how deep into the body does it go?  And how much?  Some vw current gets inside our resistive skin.  Most is blocked by it.  We know what gets in is not enough to harm you, but if you’re curious, how would you figure out how much is getting in, perhaps so you could discuss violet wand play with your doctor?

You COULD run the skin depth formula on vw current and values for human flesh.  The skin depth formula is an electrical physics formula that calculates current drop off in a conductive material.  This formula is applicable to solid conductors like copper wire, and not to human flesh, but you could estimate if you assumed a magnetic permeability of 1 and the resistance of seawater.

But leave the numbers to the scientists!  Theory is all well and good, but there simple demos you can do at home.
You don’t have to do tests on dead pigs like we did, to find out how deep violet wand current goes into the body.  We had to do those tests to create internal violet wand electrodes, and worked with a university physics department on a grant that was jointly funded by us and the International Violet Wand Guild.  Dead pigs became a problem after that first research we did, so we went to ballistic gel.  Ballistic gel is nothing but gelatin.
And skin is leather.  So the human body is pretty much jello wrapped in leather.  We can work with this and make a large quantity of jello, and put test probes inside it.  Or use a lightbulb, fluorescent type.  Wrap your jello mound in leather.  Zap the leather and see if the current can travel to the probes or bulb.   Its a simple demo, not by any means a scientific test.  So many factors figure into your conductivity and resistivity that it makes one person more conductive than another.  But its a fun demo to do.
VW net discharge is about .3ma, 500 khz, at 50kv max.  Even though that voltage is high, the amps are so low that it makes violet wand transformed discharge relatively safe, and fun for our purposes.
